Maushumi Bhattacharjee, a casual research assistant at the Centre of Genomics and Policy,  is pursuing her Doctor of Civil Law (PhD) at the Faculty of Law, McGill University. She holds an LL.M in Bioethics from McGill University, an LL.M in Intellectual Property Law from Gujarat National Law University, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Law from Institute of Law, Nirma University. Maushumi’s primary research is focused on addressing the limitations and negative impacts of intellectual property (IP) laws on innovation in healthcare.
