Michael is in his final year of McGill’s LL.B./BCL (Honours) programme. Before McGill, he studied philosophy at the University of Alberta and developed an interest in population and reproductive ethics. He serves on a committee affiliated with McGill’s Faculty of Medicine studying physician-assisted dying and the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s decision in Carter v. Canada. He is writing an honours thesis at McGill on the philosophical foundations of private law and the tort of wrongful life.
